How do I book a portrait session?
Booking with us is easy! Simply contact us via phone, email, or through our website with our online booking system form. We’ll discuss your preferences, available dates, and the type of session you’re interested in. Once your session is confirmed, we’ll guide you through the next steps.
What types of portrait sessions do you offer?
We offer a variety of portrait sessions, including flying dress portraits, headshots and branding, confidence shoots, 40/40 milestone sessions, and as-you-are lifestyle portraits. Each session is tailored to suit your style and vision.
What’s included in the session fee?
Our session fee covers a personalised photoshoot, professional guidance throughout the session for £75, and access to props or settings relevant to your chosen portrait type. For flying dress portraits shoots the session fee is £75 if you would like to hire the dress that is a very small fee for the dresses £25 to cover the clearing of the dress.
How long does a portrait session last?
Sessions typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the type of shoot and the number of locations involved.
Can I add professional hair and makeup to my session?
Absolutely! We work with talented makeup artists and stylists who can be booked for an additional fee to help you feel and look your best for the shoot.
Where will the session take place?
We offer both studio sessions at available dates so please check first before you book and outdoor sessions at scenic locations across South Wales. The location will depend on the type of session you choose and your personal preferences.
How should I prepare for my portrait session?
We recommend choosing outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. If you’ve booked a flying dress session, we’ll provide the gown. For outdoor shoots, consider the weather and bring appropriate footwear.
Can I bring someone with me to the session?
Of course! You’re welcome to bring a friend, partner, or family member for support or to join in the photoshoot if you’d like.
When will I receive my photos?
Your professionally edited photos will be ready within 2-3 weeks after the session. We’ll send you an online gallery or arrange a viewing session to select your favourites.
What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor shoot?
We keep an eye on the weather leading up to outdoor sessions. If it looks like poor weather, we’ll contact you to reschedule or discuss alternative indoor options.
Do you offer gift vouchers for portrait sessions?
Yes, we do! Our gift vouchers make a thoughtful and unique present for loved ones. They cover the session fee only for £100 you can also purchase eVouchers to cover the cost of prints and packages.
What should I wear for my session?
For most sessions, we recommend wearing outfits that reflect your personality and make you feel comfortable. For professional headshots, choose polished, business-appropriate clothing. We’ll discuss wardrobe options during the planning stage to ensure you’re fully prepared.
Can I request specific poses or styles?
Absolutely! We encourage clients to share their ideas and inspiration. Whether it’s a pose, a style, or a mood you want to achieve, we’ll work together to bring your vision to life.
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new date.
Do you offer digital files or prints?
Yes, we provide both! After your session, you’ll have the option to purchase digital files, high-quality prints, or beautifully framed artwork to display in your home We also offer print packages that come with the USB stick.
Can children or pets be included in the session?
Absolutely! We love working with families, and we’re happy to include children or pets in your portrait session.
Do you provide guidance for posing during the shoot?
Yes, we’ll guide you through posing to ensure you feel comfortable and look your best. You don’t need to worry about being a pro – we’re here to make the process fun and easy.
What if I feel nervous in front of the camera?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous! Our sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll help you ease into the process so you can feel confident and have fun.
Can I customise my portrait session?
Yes! We’re happy to tailor your session to meet your needs and preferences. Let us know if there’s something special you’d like to include, and we’ll make it happen.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time, especially during busy seasons.
